It’s true…the PHONE company themselves can’t (and won’t) help you, as there are laws regulating the privacy of cell phones. But there are reverse directory services who CAN (and will!) help you with amazing ease….and often in less time it will take for you to decide whether or not to use one, you can have all sorts of information on the numbers behind YOUR harassment for sure.
Remember….the laws that surround cell phones, and their owners are a bit difficult to understand, and process. For most of us….the simple truth is that we’re too “lazy” to really learn our rights! But the fact is, if it is in fact a cell number that’s been bothering you, you can find out just about anything you want about the “face” behind the calls, and the annoyance, simply by deciding that you need to know.
What can you find out?
Good question! As I’ve mentioned many times before….you can literally find out anything you want, within reason. If it’s a business…..who they are, who registered the phone, where they are located and what cell carrier they use. Their address……their principles, and a whole lot more to boot! If it’s a person, you can quickly identify who owns the phone, where they are calling you from and if you are assertive, you can also find out WHY they are bothering you to boot. (of course you need to be like me and be willing to drop a little note in the mail…..that ALWAYS puts an end to the charade in a hurry..:-)
